UKATA Asbestos Awareness Online Training
This is an online version of the UKATA Face-Face course which meets the UKATA approved syllabus.
In order to satisfy Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, there is a legal requirement for mandatory training to be given to anyone who may be liable to be exposed to asbestos fibres at work.
If you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You and your employees will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.
Asbestos awareness training is relevant to a wide variety of trades. In particular, it should be given to all demolition workers and those workers in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades where it is foreseeable that their work will disturb the fabric of buildings.

This online version is a flexible option. It allows employees to progress through the course a their own pace. It can be completed in one session or broken up in to bite size sessions to suit the employees preferences.
Please note, Asbestos awareness training does not train people to work with any forms of asbestos. If you or your employees are to knowingly work on asbestos containing materials, further training will be required.
