Paediatric First Aid Training Blended Learning

Our blended first aid courses are designed to help schools meet statutory requirements such as the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the EYFS framework, while reducing disruption to teaching.

Staff complete 6 hours of e-learning at home at a time that suits them, before attending a 6-hour classroom session focused on hands-on life-saving skills.

This flexible approach saves time, cuts cover costs, and ensures your school remains compliant, with staff confident and ready to respond in an emergency.

This 12-hour qualification fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. As such, this course is aimed at and therefore suited to primary schools, nurseries and childminders, providing staff with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to deal confidently with first aid emergencies involving children.

Learners who achieve this qualification will meet Ofsted requirements, but it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that there is adequate cover within their setting. Employers should therefore carry out a needs assessment to confirm that their school or childcare provision has the right mix of trained staff available at all times.
